The Micro Generation Certification is a government scheme that has been introduced
to set the standard for solar panel Installers,
In order to gain the MCS Certification the company must meet vigorous criteria
and prove that they are capable of installing Micro Generation systems to the
highest standard.

In order to qualify for the feed in tariffs that the government has put in place for the
next 25 years, your complete Solar PV system must be installed by an approved MCS installer who uses MCS approved panels/inverters. If you have a Solar PV system installed by a company who are not MCS certified you will not receive any benefits from this government scheme.
